| The North County Voice, covering Vista, San Marcos and Escondido, offers a wide selection of happenings in these communities and surrounding areas – news from city hall, school and club news, profiles of interesting residents and businesses, entertainment news and community events. Several pages of Vista, San Marcos and Escondido Chambers of Commerce news are included, as well. The Voice is a 16-page monthly tabloid-sized newspaper, offering 12 pages of full-color. 17,000 copies are distributed monthly, with 50 percent going to households and 50 percent distributed through select businesses in all three communities. "This is a true community publication," said publisher Mary Beth Francis. "We are looking for people who want to write columns, suggestions for people and businesses we should profile and, naturally, we are looking for people who want to advertise." Francis also currently produces the Escondido and the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce newspapers. |
